Months

Just like here on Earth, the calendar of Esgar counts twelve months. These months don’t sound like any of our months, but seem to have the same amount of days as ours. So their years also exist out of twelve months and 365 days(or 366 in a leap year). After we discovered this, it made it a lot easier for us to connect the months to our own month system. The names of their months are Arth, Móln, Cyrt, Sógh, Limn, Wrosh, Olom, Myhm, Yvaln, Iwint, Tydas and Trinn, and they are similar to our January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December, in that same order.

Down below we have put them in order.

Arth - January

Móln - February

Cyrt - March

Sógh - April

Limn - May

Wrosh - June

Olom - July

Myhm - August

Yvaln - September

Iwint - October

Tydas - November

Trinn - December

Constellations

Because we found what appears to be a calendar in one of our documents, we were able to see that Esgar had its own constellation system. In Esgar, like us, they know twelve constellations, but unlike Earth, these constellations begin every first day of the month. So every month has its own constellation.
