The Woads

 

The Woads is a collective noun for the rebellious tribes that live in the forests of Esgar. Their Government is called the "Order of the Druïds", and they gather once a year to discuss all the problems about the tribes and religion.

The Woads are people of the first civilization(The Brave) who rebelled against the new religion of the Seers, since the first year of Dóhn(Exact Date: D1, Arth 4th). They did not believe that there was one stone-giant that decided over their destiny. ‘The nature has always provided us with everything we needed. From food to building materials. If there is a God, it’s the nature.’ After they were spoken to by the Seers they decided to move into the woods to live close to the nature and the spirits it contains. They are known as “The Woads” which actually means “The Woods” in the Howynne language.

 

The most common language of The Woads is Woaden, which is a combination of Howynne and a language developed over time.

 

The Woads are known for their musical skills and their love for the nature. You won't find a Woad that is not connected to the nature or who can't create music with either an instrument or things the nature provides him or her.
